Edgenuity & Apex

  • Online Learning via Edgenuity and APEX

iGrad students who are working toward earning their Kent School District diploma complete many of their courses using online curriculum. Most students take classes using Edgenuity (formerly known as e2020). Some students may use a different program known as APEX. Teachers choose the curriculum that they feel will best meet each student's skill level, academic needs, and learning style.

Students may develop a preference for working on one program versus another. If that's the case, students should feel free to request that program when new classes are added and we'll do our best to accommodate that request.

Since online learning is new to many students and families, we've gathered some information that we hope will be helpful (see Resources on right).

Receive Weekly Progress Reports via Email

Parents and guardians can receive weekly progress reports sent directly to their email that will provide information about their student's progress. The reports are generated by the software systems that students use in their classes.

To start receiving progress reports, email Registrar, DeAnne Fuller at: Deanne.Fuller@kent.k12.wa.us. Please include your student's full name, email address(es) that reports will be sent to, and how often you'd like to receive reports: daily, weekly, or monthly.

We hope you'll find this to be a useful tool in supporting your student and encouraging progress.

    Technical Difficulties

Both APEX and Edgenuity maintain toll-free Customer Support Lines.  If students experience technical difficulties while working outside of class and are unable to reach us at iGrad, we suggest they call the Customer Support line directly.
