Hello Monarch Family!

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to say welcome to the 2023-2024 school year.  This year is going to be filled with opportunities as we welcome many new members to the Meridian Middle School community.  My priority is to ensure that all students feel welcome, safe, and challenged. My personal commitment is that students will be at the center of every decision made at Meridian Middle School.

We know there will be lots of questions as we embark on this new year.  The staff at Meridian Middle School have been preparing and we are ready.  We are committed to ensuring that ALL students achieve, are inspired to be life-long learners, and celebrate diversity within an ever-changing world. Our mission is to lead with equity and love, cultivate a community of belonging, and empower “ALL” to be their best.

This year we will continue to focus on a well-rounded experience for our students based on our core values (ROAR): Respect, Ownership, Achievement, and Responsibility. These are not new for any of us, but I ask all members of our community to rethink what they mean to you and how you show up each day.

I am excited to work with all our students and families.  Please take the time to learn about Meridian by looking at the website, reading through the handbook, talking with the staff and students, and asking questions.  I value the relationship with our families and want to ensure that you are clear on ways to support your student.  Let’s partner together to make it a great year!
