Principal Watson

  • Welcome to Millennium!

We are so excited to have you here! I am happy to be starting my second year as principal with the fantastic and caring Millennium staff. My first year was wonderful and I am looking forward to seeing each of our families, students and community team members again.

We have a strong, caring, skilled team who are committed to helping all of our kids (yours and ours) be successful in school and in life. The Millennium Team is ready to work together with you to make this the best year yet!

    Academic Success for ALL!

Millennium is committed to helping each of our students achieve academic growth and success. Our teachers and paraeducators have high standards and offer lots of support to ensure that students can achieve those standards. If you would like to know more about what your child is learning in school, please reach out to us. We would love to talk with you about what is happening in your child’s class.

We ask a lot of our students and you can help by asking your child about their day, reading with your child and providing a structured place for them to do homework.

Raising a child is hard work and it takes a village. Please join us and be a part of our family-community-school team. Together we are unstoppable!

    Communication is Key

You are the first teacher of your child and we want to partner with you to get to know how your child learns best. We value your input and involvement in your child’s school life. Keep in touch! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Check our website regularly, watch for family activities and events in our newsletters and keep in close contact with your child’s teacher. If you would like to receive texts from Millennium, please make sure you have the preferred text number in Skyward. If you need help finding information, call us! We are here and will happily help you find what you need.

Our Millennium Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is looking for you! There are many opportunities to get involved. Join us!

    Y.E.S., We Can!

We expect our students to be both stellar scholars and positive citizens.

We teach students to take care of three things:

    1. Yourself!
    2. Each other!
    3. School environment!

This expectation is supported by the eight virtues that you will see in each hallway and classroom.

    • Respect
    • Kindness
    • Giving
    • Self-Discipline
    • Responsibility
    • Honesty
    • Environmental Stewardship
    • Perseverance

At Millennium we believe that while some tasks and concepts can be challenging or difficult that is no reason to quit! Our staff focus on providing instruction and supports to help each child succeed.

It is a privilege to work with our wonderful students, their families (YOU!) and our kind, professional and highly-skilled teammates.

Remember we are a TEAM and together YES, We Can help all students!!
