Dear Meridian Families and Community,

Welcome to Meridian and to the 2022-2023 school year! I want to extend a warm welcome to our new families and a welcome back to our returning families!

At Meridian, we believe that there are no excuses for children not being successful and we will support your child to reach their full potential in school. This means that we have high expectations, both academically and behaviorally, of all our students. This also means that we will have frequent honest conversations with you about your child’s progress in school.

This year, we are focusing on two important goals.

First, at Meridian, we want to partner with you! Meridian staff do an excellent job providing all students with a safe, excelling, learning environment so all can reach their goals and prepare for future opportunities in career or college. Second, our goal is to further develop a culture of professional learning communities and our parent outreach program (PASA) so every student can be proficient in reading, writing, and math.
