About Us

Our Health Services team links health with learning in many ways. School nurses function as a part of the school's multi-disciplinary team to bridge the gap between health, wellness and learning. Working with parents, other health professionals and school staff, the school nurse provides services for students that promote optimum health for academic success.

We support our students and families with their health care needs so students have the opportunity for the best educational experiences. We provide health care screenings and verify immunization compliance in accordance with Washington State law. We also collaborate with home and health care providers to create health care and emergency action plans. We support students by administering prescribed medication and treatments, assess illnesses and injuries, and monitoring health status.
