The High School & Beyond Plan (HSBP)

The High School & Beyond Plan is a Washington State high school graduation requirement designed to support students’ college, career, and life exploration throughout their secondary education (grades 7 – 12) by identifying the steps needed to reach their postsecondary goals. Students work with their homeroom or advisory teachers, school counselors, and/or college and career readiness staff to develop their own individualized plan and update it on a yearly basis to reflect changing interests or postsecondary goals, and identify the available interventions and academic supports needed.
